The ‘DEPARTMENT OF SOCIOLOGY’  is  one  of  the  main attraction  of  ideal arts and science college’s  arts wing. The  study of  sociology  helps  people  to  understand  about  social interaction  of  individuals, and  as a  social  animal , human  behaviour too. Here the  sociology  department  focusing  the  same .

Based on the Calicut university syllabus, we can enlighten students towards the important areas of sociology and social research. Along with that we are adding discussions and debates based on the contemporary social scenario, for students to make their own perspectives about social world.
